Coen, A. Blok and R. Neuville. Many type specimens in the Coen and Blok collections a growing number of types of recently described local species. A rich malacological library. Research is mainly concentrated on local mollusc fauna of the Middle East and deals with taxonomy, systematics, nomenclature, zoogeography, biology, ecology, predation, conservation, polymorphism, Lessepsian migration, G.I.S. -mapping and Archaeo-malacology.
