Gruppo Malacolico Livornese
Our group , GML acronym from the original name Gruppo Malacologico Livornese , was originally made by simple shell collectors , but soon the interests of this people was spread into most of the fields of Mollusk Biology , i.e. taxonomy , ecology and biogeography . Thus a group of non-professional people was also able to produce a good amount of studies and publications , so gaining some respect between both Italian and European malacologits
